Auto Lights stayed on???

I set off home yesterday from a multi-story parking lot.

Auto headlights kicked on in the darkness - as expected.

But then they stayed on all the way home, even though it was still light! (6pm)

WTF? :banghead:

Is that normal - i.e. once on, they stay on for the trip?

Seemed bright enough outside (i.e. still sunny) to have them auto switch off....

Anyone seen this?

It may seem bright enough to you, but not always to the sensor (it's behind the rear view mirror along with the rain sensor.) It happens to me early in winter mornings on the way to work very often, as it gets bright outside the lights often stay on for quite a while before shutting off. As long as they eventually go off, no worries.
