After looking at all the photos it looks a bit like Nissan had some influence. There was no mention of the diesel in the price structure. I would only buy one if I could get it in the 3.7L CDI. I might have my Disco II paid for buy the time it arrives.

From the looks of it (3rd pic down from top) There might actually be some room for articulation. I can't wait to see what this beast does off road. My opinion may be swaying slightly. I guess only time will tell. Besides, by the time someone throws down 50g's for a new one, drives it to the grocery store once and back, puts it up for sale, it should depreciate enough for me to afford it!

Land Rover North America today announced U.S. pricing for its all-new SUV, the LR3. The manufacturer's suggested retail price for the SE model will be $44,995, while the HSE model will retail for $49,995. All models will feature Land Rover's innovative Terrain Response? technology, a powerful 300 hp V8 engine and the Range Rover-inspired, four-corner, cross-linked air suspension, solidifying LR3's outstanding on and-off-road performance.

From what I read and heard during my last dealer visit, this thing is a computer with a Jag motor attached to it. All the techno gadgetry seemed really cool. But you would be ass out on a trail when a computer goes down and AAA can't reach you.

Wait a minute......I drive a D2....I would also be ass out if I lost a computer :(
