Auto trans

OK I have the 4 spd Auto trans and decided to check the Fluid . The owners Manual don't even meantion how to do this . Knowing it is a sealed trans I am totally confused.. The oil pressure And trans Light does not work when I turn on the key So really need some way to keep a check. Found the engine oil stick .lol. Have a clean oil streak from the front seal area of the engine to the rear of the transfer case. So need to keep a close check.

Search. You can swap a d1 pan but as long as it isn't leaking and you change the fluid every 30k miles it should be good.

Just bought it a Week ago and so don't know when 30k could be also the shift mode light don' work either so need to play with it to make sure it is not in sport mode seem to use more gas yesterday .could have been driving in 3rd. felt like it. The engine is so smooth you could balance a Nickel on it. amazing!

When you push the mode does the s or m light in the instrument cluster?

Very Few lights work in the Cluster ?? Can't believe it. Engine oil pressure , Battery ,High beams plus a small red light under the bat and Op Light.. Can't understand how the rest coud fail. when the key Switch in turned to on and not start..

They don't usually fail. They usually are intentionally disabled by someone trying to cover up another problem. Do you sometimes hear 3 chimes for new good reason at all?

Jafir That is what I am thinking.. hooked ODBII and only found a stored OXy senser with a problem. the new one was for the Transmission .. Not finished yet.. saw one switch on the Transfer did not have the wire hooked up but it was close by..

They are led lights so don't believe any are burned out.. The S & M light comes on for the 3sec test then goes out will remove consul to see if I can find switch.. Put a wire back on the transfer case and thought wow maybe the L <H light will come on nope .
