Has anyone installed a second audio source i.e. ipod, xm, etc. and used it through direct connection via the CD changer connection? I have my XM installed using the FM modulator and sound quality is not great. In my Jeep I have an adapter that allows me to connect my factory CD change to the stock radio and add three aux inputs. I found one for the Land Rover but it only works with aftermarket Alpine changers and not the stock changer. So my real question is has anyone been able to add an aux input (non-fm style) and retain the stock cd changer?
BTW, It's a 99 Disco 2.

Does this connector work with the D 1's?

It seems none of the aftermarket adapters, like the Blitzsafe or Peripheral Electronics (http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/) work for DIs.

I think it may be worth while picking up an aftermarket head unit and using the aux input or getting an adapter (Pioneer Makes one for its "P" sieries head units.)

The Blitzsafe unit is the the one I am referring to. The Blitzsafe Unit is NOT compatible with the STOCK CD Changer only aftermarket Alpine units (I confirmed this verbally and via email with them) hence the reason I posted this message to see if anyone knew of any other adapters.
