Aux fans always running and draining battery

Fans run from initial start and continue to run after shutting the car off until the battery is drained. If battery is disconnected, the fans will shut off and won't come back on when battery reconnected. But again does it again when starting the car up.

I'm thinking it might be the fan switch that is plugged in by the thermostat.

Has anybody heard of this problem where it's stuck on? I've heard where it's stuck off.

it must rain a lot where you live

pull the passenger kick panel, remove all the relays, clean, reinstall. Then find out where the water is getting in.

Update: pulled the plug from the fan switch and fan was still running. Pulled the associated relay and fans stopped. AMR3876
