Aux Light Switch?

Is there a switch for a P38 that will fit where the blank one currently is in the dash? I picked up another fog light switch to run my rally lights, which fits perfectly in the place where the blank one was, however one would have to keep their finger depressing the switch to keep the lights on. My mechanic is thinking of getting the "up/down ride height" switch (not the rocker switch, but the push button one to the side of that) to control the rally lights instead. He is then going to try to switch the covers so it looks like the fog light switch.

If Land Rover designed this truck with a blank for adding another push button switch, I have to imagine they must have designed a switch to go there. Does anyone have any suggestions or know of a aux switch for that location?

Actually I have ordered another one of those ride height control switches becuase you are correct, it will work. Of course I would prefer a light symbol for my rally lights instead of the ride height symbol. Expedition Exchange thinks I can switch out the switch covers once I get that ride height switch. Hopefully that will work. It still seems odd to me that Land Rover would build a vehicle with a blank, but then not offer any additional switches to fill that blank with.

cruise control is an on/off swtich. and it looks like the the fog light covers will interchange, however i cant garuentee that. it just looks that way, i dont have any spare light covers around but I do have an extra CC switch just for this purpose some day.

they did fill that spot with a switch. that is where the hi/lo switch goes if you have a manual trans :)

the blank is for the transfer case high low in a manual euro car.

the factory aux light harness makes the fog switch a on off and switches between low/fog and high/driving lights when it is on.
