Hey everyone, I have a problem and need some help. A little background first. I recently had the alternator rebuilt and just replaced the battery last week. While driving the battery light comes on and I have loss of power, then the light goes off and everything returns to normal. It will do this a couple of times. Luckily I was close to home and was able to make it back. The first time this happened I cleaned the battery terminals and all the connections going to the Alt. This got rid of the problem for about two weeks. Today it did it again, I did not have much time to work on it, but I did clean up the Battery ground going to the frame. Not sure how to proceed trouble shooting. Check Voltage output at the Alt and Battery? I just replaced these items but maybe the Alt. went out again. Also the key is stuck in the ignition, not sure if this is causing a problem or even related. Thank you for your advice.
