There is a show on TV right now that makes me want to throw up. Anybody else watching "wrong Turn" on 20/20 ABC? This is just a show about unprepared idiots and the idiotic things they did to not get themselves out of trouble. Anybody know if Bear Camp Road is still open for travel to prepared travelers during winter? They said they were stuck in the snow, but when they show pics of the car when the family was found, there was clear black pavement all around! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I spent two weeks in Klamath Falls, Or in the winter driving a water truck. I froze my ass off. Unless I was refueling, that truck was always running with the heat on full. I can't imagine anyone stupid enough to try to traverse those roads without being prepared.

"I can't believe we haven't been found yet" This is an actual quote from the dumb bimbo being interviewed on the show. Like it's somebody else's responsibility to bail them out of their stupidity.

I'm watching it now. Did they follow their GPS down this road, or an old fashioned map?

I'm thinking a 20ft x1ft strip of bright orange or yellow fabric would be a good addition to my safety gear. Something that's visible from the air.

No, better off burning your own tires for a signal fire because OF COURSE somebody is looking specifically for you. They got in there following a map, but got on to a lesser road by not watching where they were going. Then instead of turning around and following their own tracks out when they realized they went the wrong way, they stayed there, did nothing, and expected somebody to bail them out.

It just bugs me the way this story is twisted as a tragedy, when it was all brought on by stupidity.

Yeah, I agree. Why they burned their tires is beyond me. There was more than enough wood around there to keep a fire burning 24/7. Might have been a problem cutting it, but do what you can. Burn a seat or the carpet before your 4 good road tires.

Their self-rescue should have been to turn around once they realized teh road was too tough for them to drive over. When there are no more cars passing you on the road, you pretty much know it's not for a road car.

That bitch is crazy.

"I made my husband promise me that if something happened to the kids he would slit my wrist."

Are you fucking kidding me?

Also, the infant had the most severe frostbite; on her arms. That tells me this looney cunt didn't put her kids first.

I'd freeze my balls off to keep my son safe.

This entire event is sickening.
