Now the mother involved in that fight has been arrested and charged with a class 6 felony . Neglect of a dependant child . And contributing to the delinquency of a minor .
Bullshit. If that happened without extreme context (I doubt it), the kid's "master" should be challenged. He's supposed to be building discipline, and over many years forming a body and mind that can later accept an exploration of the art.
If it didn't happen that way, and it was an isolated quote from many sessions of training (more likely), then his mother has just made the serious error of sending that kid down the wrong fucking road very early in his training.

I'm sure you guys are right about the martial arts programs . No honor lost by walking away from an idiot . I have no training like that . But I grew up on the streets and know what a good brawl looks like . Even though the bitch on the scooter looks a little fucked up around the face . She landed a good blow to the right side of mommy dearest chest and rocked her . If that fight kept going I say mom gets her ass handed to her good . You notice she was done after that shot .
The kid was an ineffective force, and should not have been involved in a personal conflict to begin with.
There are brawls, there are attacks, murderous bandits, and war; and then there are two bitches smacking each other around in Walmart. I've been involved in enough to know that the last example isn't worth involving a kid, nor has a master any business encouraging a fight, rather than encouraging a student to attempt to escape, evade, or end one quickly after it begins if he can't avoid it.
That's when you don't back down; when there is no reasonable escape. A bystander should have removed him.
You have to know when and when not to drop someone when it comes to everyday life; be it growing up on the street or dicking around in a store, and how best to do it incredibly quickly and without further incident. Someone in the beginning years of training does not know that. He does not understand why you train.
Years of it is, or should be, entirely mental oriented. That's the first thing I beat into skulls. Until your mind is right, your just another jack-leg in a silly costume. All the physicality up to that point is merely preparation.
If you want a young kid to learn from a pointless fight between adults, you tell him to step the fuck back and watch.

A sherif I know likes to be the first on any crime scene accept a bar fight . He says you arrest the winner . Put the looser in an ambulance . And he always gets blood on his uniform .
I like to see that kind of shit now and then . Makes my family and friends look a little more civil . Kind of like a almost good looking chick hanging out with uglier girls to improve her odds .
