I bought a Jaguar XJS from FCEC. It was as described. They did hand it over with no gas in it which was annoying.

More likely it's just you that sucks. FCEC has done great work for me for almost 20 yrs now. You're probably just one of those cheapass types not willing to get shit done the right way LOL
...and if you're also having trouble with a bike shop, the problem may be you ?
Try All-star in raleigh or learn to do your own bike work. If you like more direct dealing w the mechanic try Cycle Surgeon in Cary. Small shop at his residence.
I'm trying to get my fat ass back into mountain biking. I used strip down my bikes and rebuild them just for the hell of it back when I was really into it. I've been surfing Park Tools' website as I've been servicing my bike and making plans for upgrades. They have an awesome website with a shit-ton of tools to buy.

Lol! Yes they have been very good to me over the many years and Rovers on which they have worked.
If it wasn't for them, my RRC still wouldn't be running.
