Has anyone found a better rubber exhaust hanger? Seem to replace them alot. They just rot and split. :banghead:

not that i've found but they do suck, i'll agree with you. and how the hell do you change the one in the front?? i just gave up and used more baleing (sp?) wire
Mine belt is the toughest rubber on earth!! You can use a piece at each mounting point but you will have to cut it to size and punch some holes in it. It is not very flexable so leave some room for play.

i havent had to replace one on the rover yet (i did notice i have one torn today while working on my rig though) but on my wrx i replaced them with polyurethane ones which was a very worth while upgrade as my exhaust diddnt shake around anymore after the install.
how many do we have on our rigs? kartboy.com is a great company and i just might go that route when i do replace mine. they have 2 different lengths also.

Just checked the kartboy site. Those Subaru hangers look the same. They might fit, I'll contact them and post the answer.
there are also hanger that have a chain molded in. Same outside appearance as normal hangers but with super strength.

Kartboy sent me info this morning. I'll check tonight.
The short hangers from Kartman are too long. The center to center for their hanger is 11/2" and the hole size can be 10mm, 12mm or 15mm. I measured the rover hangers and the center to center is 1",the holes were hard to measure because they are stretched. The hooks are about 12mm. Too bad, I hoped they would work. Could still make them to work if I rebend the hangers, maybe.

no i got that far with no problem. once the hanger is unbolted its nearly impossible to get the rubber on both pegs. the hanger has angles on it and it can only be put on one way, unlike the ones in the rear. i'll try again in a week or so but it was just so damn hot this august one had to give up quickly.
