Matt they'll work. I have the same susp as you and I run 285s BFG MT right now with GCR wheels

you didn't have to hack it all up though? the width just looks like it would cause big issues... got any pics? these tires are driving me crazy...

The rear was already hacked because of my rear bumper, so I guess I spoke to soon. However with the ole fork lift test they stuffed good. I had already rolled the fender lip at the rear. The front had no problems. No trimming of the doors though. I take it you want to keep the body pristine.

not necessarily, I just don't want to hack off a ton of my fender. A bit of trimming is cool, but not where it looks like shit. my rear bumper has taken off almost all of the rear panel anyways. It's the lip of the fender I'm worried about clearing.

Ya you took as much off as I did. It's dark or I would take a pic for you. And make sure rock sliders are not to long. Either way thats a good price for the tires. If they don't fit I'm sure you can sell them. Hell I would buy them from you if I don't get my own. Trying make my current MT go through till spring

yeah, that's true... If they don't fit, I can just sell themn locally for the same price if you or others don't want them. I called the guy a bit ago and he said we'd talk on monday morning, so i can keep my fingers crossed.

Do it. Now that you're locked you'll be unstopable. If they don't work I'll drive to Reno and get them from you. Or we could meet halfway and wheel somewhere. Strike that you live near the Rubicon I'll come down there.

haha, I'm gonna hit the Con, but not till this summer. Maybe i should start getting dates in mind so people can commit.

If I get them, I'm sure they'll be fine. They're a bit shorter than the 255/85's, so I shouldn't have a problem clearing them as far as the hieght goes.

The first review I saw of these new tires was in Offroad Adventures magazine (from 4 Wheel Parts) and after reading the article again, I noticed they did the test in conjunction with Wide Open Baja - the same guys we are buying the tires from. Just a little FYI - good mag by the way, free if you register at their website...

315/75/16 has been available for a couple of months.. thats about a 35" ... of course, you're not going to find them at the $125 price though.. I think 4wheelparts.com had them at about $250/ea
