Anyone have a good source for Bilstein 7100 rebuild kits? My rears are in dire need. Also, for anyone who has rebuilt these, is the disassembly tool and rod guide installation needle critical, or can they be rebuilt with other tools? Thanks

Edit: I see that Summit can get them for $29/each, but it says that it ships from the manufacturer and estimated shipping date is mid-September...?

Just wanted to let everyone out there know, I ordered mine from Summit on Sunday night, they shipped direct from Bilstein Monday, and will be here tomorrow (Wednesday) for a total of about $63 shipped for two rebuild kits. Best price I found anywhere.

But a set of shocks jaws always helps, just be sure to get the proper size:

I have seen these shock jaws mentioned several times in Bilstein posts here but it looks like they do not have ones that will fit the shaft on these shocks. Bilsteins are 14mm which is around 0.55". I looked around and found 2 sets that should work.

And

The first ones cover a range that the Bilsteins should fit in and the 2nd ones are specifically for 14mm.

One is for horizontal mounting of the shock and the other is for vertical.

Cheers

Yeah, just checked and the old 7100 I have fits in the jaws…maybe those aren't from Poly, I bought them about 4 years ago...
