So i went through the trek of putting on my 3" RTE and it looks great. Had a few issues arise as expected. BEen doing some research and i'm still in between on my answer. I have decided to stick with the heim joint for the bilsteins. Made a hell of a racket at first until i reinstalled them with larger spacer and grade 8 bolts on the front. FRont quieted down but the rear seems to be what going on now. The rears i bought new bolts that have a smooth shaft with threads on the end. But they are the standard size for the rear upper and lower mount. Should i just torque the shit out of them so they wont rattle? Also what i have noticed is the rear sway bar links are in a bind pretty bad. Is there an option for longer ones. This is a daily driver so i don't really want to remove it. Here is a look at it.

Yes, it needs a 1/2" bolt...

Or if you don't want to drill out the mounts, you can get poly bushings with the factory sized 12mm bolt hole. If you don't have a right angle drill, the poly might be an easier option.

To keep the 1/2" heims you need the 1/2" to 12mm step down spacer, available from Eshocks. You would need 4 per shock. Or drill the mount holes out to 1/2"

I have Fox, shouldn't matter, but I kept the 12mm in rear upper and lower, torqued to 60 lbs and no heim chatter.
