'04 Disco S. I wired up new factory switches for fog and Aux lighting. Came out nice. I did this all with the binnacle in-place - but I had to push the OEM wiring not being used behind the binnacle and now things are realy tight in there (a few wires keep pushing out by the instrument cluster). This is all on the left hand side of the binnacle.

I was hoping to remove the binnacle to re-position things and get it to fit back together better plus make sure there is no crimped or damaged wiring back there. I see two screws on the binnacle lower portion just above the steering column - does removing these allow the binnacle to be removed? If so, do I need to disconnect all switches and/or wiring on both sides of the binnacle (I hope not)? Hoping someone has done this before as I can't find it via search here.

Broken Arrow, OK
Yes, you remove those two screws that are just above the steering column. However the hard part is the two clips that attach the front of the binnacle (near the windshield) to the dashboard. It's very easy to break the plastic slots, on the front of the binnacle, that the dash clips fit into.
