Black sticker that goes on hood to get glare out of eyes

I am looking for the black sticker that people put on their hood to deflect the sun out of their eyes. i dont know what its called but i do know its on alot of safari land rovers! please help? does anyone even know what they are called?

I call it "Black paint and masking tape". It will save you about $100

Hood blackout from Vigg Designs can be bought for $75.00 .. call up the shop at 732.683.9400 (or 888-315-VIGG) to order it.. make sure you specify whether you want it for a DI or DII ..

I know that most places that are selling hood blackouts are actually just reselling Vigg's .. I don't remember what he said about RoverTym, so I can't confirm that its the case for them.. but every one else that is selling them that i've seen are just reselling them.

How does the do-it-yourself paint job come out? I would be extremely nervous to try that

Once you go black, you never go back. Paint that sucker. Use a good automotive tape to tape off the area, take the hood off, prime and paint. you can use a good flat paint which will beat the stickers functionally all day. DONE! CHEAP.

i have a new hood decal in the box for a D1(viggs), I bought it, then a freind painted my hood instead. So make an offer.

Mine is painted. Looks good. When it fades or chips, I touch it up. When the dacal cracks or fades, you replace it. $$
