Blinker Type Noise

Hello,

Was hoping you guys could help me with my current quandry in my 97 Disco. This morning I started my truck and this blinker type sound started coming from the steering wheel area. My blinkers work fine and nothing else seems out of sorts. Curiously, the sound goes away when I turn my lights on (both parking and high beams). Also, the sound occurs when the engine is not turned on but all the electronics, etc. are on.

Any one have this peculiar issue before? For what it's worth, I switched out the light/signal stalk around 7 months ago due to my dash lights and rear tail lights going out when I would turn my high beams on.

Thanks,

TD

I had a similar thing happen and found it to be moisture related. I removed the blinker relay case and plastidipped it.

Thanks for the responses so far- I probably should have clarified that the clicking is constant as if my turn signal were in fact on.

There is a multi function module to the upper left of your steering column . I've seen those do weird stuff like that when they get wet . Usually it makes the park lights flash like the 4 ways are on
