Blower motor assembly

What's the best way you've found to remove the entire blower motor assembly from a D1? Need to get to some connections behind it.

Remove the entire dash.

Remove the glove box, several bolts, and wrestle the thing out.

I might do that, is that really the best way?

I tried that. Even removed all the wiring and brackets, still scraping off plastic...

It can be done. Take the rod out of your mouth and get in there.

I thought you were doing a V8 to diesel conversion?
Are you putting in a diesel blower motor as well?
