Consider the significance of the city... also it's Patriot day in Boston. The day some new gun laws take effect... Any guesses as to where the finger's gonna point for this one?

So was it domestic? Why was it 2 hours after the top runners finished? why was there no one watching the CCTV?

I'm hoping I can stand corrected on the domestic implication...hearing now that there's a saudi national under guard in the hospital.

also, it looks like a gunpowder explosion to me.

edit: reading that the saudi info may be a false report.

Hope it doesn't get any worse there.

We should not be surprised, we have so little of this type of thing happening in our country, we should be more surprised that it doesn't happen more often.

It is interesting. I also noticed that in the video which actually includes the bomb going off, as they are rushing up to the spot to help people (a lot of people reacted quickly) and to pull the fence down from the sidewalk to get at the injured people, two men in military uniforms are already there helping. So her report seems to be true.

I would not be surprised either if they were just there for the general security, or if they had some previous intel.

I know during Mardis Gras and the Superbowl they had national guard bomb squad down here because they stayed here on campus.

Doesn't look fuel-enhanced. Typically a MUCH bigger fireball with those.

I'm afraid that these type of things will only get worse.

Hope it doesn't get any worse there.
