So a while back I installed a RTE 2" lift and installed 265/75-16 BFG AT/KO's. I have noticed that with the larger tires my braking isn't as good. What would be a good upgrade to improve my braking. Would changing pads help?

I had the brake fluid replaced about 5k ago. The larger tires make a noticeable difference in braking performance as I had to jam them on the other day and nearly had a new chevy hood emblem:eek: !
I'm thinking of just replacing the pads with something better. Anyone have any recommendations for pads or should I go with drilled rotors as well?

Replaced both the pads and rotors about 8-10k ago. Went with OEM stuff.

you can try to bleed them, mine where soft from day one, and even with all the modulator upgrades they still were softer with bigger tires. A couple of guy's have swapped out there modulators with newer (03, 04) ones and that has helped...

When I changed my front brakes I went with DBA rotors and EBC greenstuff pads. Might be my imagination but my braking performance seems better now.

DBA rotors don't do anything untill you start getting a lot of heat into the brakes. A softer pad would help, although the OEM pads are allready pretty soft, rebleed the brakes to make sure they're perfectly bled, and then drive accordingly.
