Buckshot mudders?

Okay, I have been offered a good price on a set of p75(or 76)-16 buckshot mudders. I was told these are the same as a 235-85-16. I know about cutting rear fenders and power loss (these will be just for off road use). My question is, do I need to do any trimming up front.

I know tires have been talked up and down. I read this for D1 on the tech page "235/85-16: same height as 265/75-16 but narrower. And seems to be the most popular size with OME lift. "

I can even see what needs done in the rear by the pics of one install, but I still have the stock front bumper and it currently still has the fog lights and all...not that I care, but I would rather replace the whole bumber than start cutting on it. I am sure I can sell it faster if it still has the fog lights and air dam....

I did the 235/85 mudders route myself. I wasn't really pleased with how they looked, so I went with the 265/75 A/T route. They basically do the same thing up front. If I am in reverse, I tend to notice the front tires rubbing more dramatically than if I am in drive. I don't think they hit the bumper, and don't ask why I have to be in reverse for them to get noticeable. So, unless you're cutting the wheel way towards one direction in reverse, you don't really have to worry about it. Though, keep in mind that I have an ARB bullbar and an OME lift with 1 inch spacers. I really don't think it's enough rubbing to worry about it as long as you're being careful.

Did you like the buckshot mudders at all? I mean how did they do offroad? I hope then do ok here in WV where mostly what we have is red clay.

Thanks for the reply.
