C-pillar dogleg rust

Dude there's a fookin hole there :D my 98 has pretty bad tin worm but at least the tin worms in NJ are neat they left you with a nice rectangular hole ;)

Weld it up, make sure as best you can that there isn't any rust on it, do the por-15 treatment then respray. Should be sound as a pound.

i have small rust in the corner there too, but not a hole. funny cuz today I was thinking of just chopping it off to fit bigger tires. Wish I had the hole, would of been a no brainier ;)

That pic is not my Disco. I found the pic on the web, and thought maybe it was done to serve as a drain, although mos likely they cut out the rust...

I presently have a little bubling on each side, but really solid metal underneath. Do I have to remove the c-pillar to get the the upper/hidden portion of the dogleg? I can't see being able to get to all the rusting surfaces without diasassembly. Is there a web how-to on this?
