Camel Trophy

Excuse my ignorance but after watching a video of a Camel Trophy adventure I have begun to wonder how the trucks are setup. Does anyone here have any first hand experience to enlighten me with or another resource that can fulfill my need?

The short answer is:
probably not as well as yours.


I don't know you or your truck but CT trucks were open diffed with near stock suspension. It's all bolt on gear and a winch. As close to stock as possible.

There was an interesting thread a few years back about how your average dweb disco is probably far better equipped than any CT truck ever was.

I would however like to advise that intercooked turbos are not so rare to find but not available new.

they were later replaced with intercooled versions
