Nope nothing special. It's just like any american pushrod v8, for the most part. There is a thrust plate you have to unbolt which may or may not be on certain models... I think it's the ones without distributor that have it, but I might be wrong.
Remove cam timing gear. Remove thrust plate. Refit cam gear to better grip cam. Pull cam out very gently while rotating. Tilt rear of cam upward to keep it straight. Use finger through oil holes if needed to steady the rear.
