Mike-
It looks like ONSLRS is heading up there too, Corey and Matt specifically. They are meeting at Walmart at 9:00 FYI.

What kind of suspension is recommended for Caney Fork....whenever I look up the area for wheeling, all I ever see is that 110 flipped on his side.

My girlfriends dad took his D2 there with a 3" and he said he got scared shitless....thats not me though.

Never been there but this thread has some good pictures in it.

I would love to head out there some day because it looks great, but at over 300 miles each way and fuel cost being what they are I don't see me making it a quick weekend trip any time soon. It would probably run me close to $200 in fuel along for the weekend.

Rick you need to slip away from that house for a little R@R and come out and play.

I know, it is starting to hurt a little. All these great trips, right in my back yard. I am in finish mode and I am pushing to be inside in three weeks. So, I am engaged until then.

Y'all never take any pictures though, so I never know what I am missing. I still haven't seen and scotch and cigars pics. Git on it!:D

you can do it stock, but you will likely scrape something. hell, i scrape stuff all the time with 2" lift and big tires. but i've never been "scared shitless". be prepared to bump and scrape at some point, no matter what you're driving. i smacked the hell out of a rock with my arb bumper last time. bent my rear bumper once, carved some rock with my diff. its a ton of fun though. we're planning our next trip right now. went in late april and it was muddy and glorious.

I love Caney Fork, it is fun without being as damaging as Tellico. There have been several stock vehicles on past trips and they got stuck a few times but nothing major. A lift, mud tires, sliders and a winch and you can have a ball. I would love to go but I did the Tellico thing two weeks ago andmy passes are all used up. I would be interested in a June or July trip if anyone is interested.
