Going to bring the green heep, as long as everyone is cool with that. I was driving the Rover today and the dummy lights and gauges went crazy. Also had loss of power, I assume its the alternator. Anyone got one lying around for a 4.2? Corey?

Does your alternator idiot light on your dash light up at start and go out when the engine is started?

When I start it up everything is ok for a while, then the gauges start bouncing around, then the dummy lights start flashing in no particular order, not sure if the alternator light flashes. But I will check. I can take the battery lead off the alt once its started and check that way right?
