My '97 disco I isn't taking fuel - doing some research on the site I've seen this symptom associated with a sticking trickle valve.
I would like to know from anyone who has experience with this any of the following questions - thanks in advance:
a. Once I get the filler neck off - is it possible to clean/repair the existing stuck valve?
b. can a disco II filler neck be installed instead of a disco 1 to take advantage of the updated design with the removable trickle valve - any advantage to this?
c. Is replacement of the filler neck/trickle valve assembly possible for a DIY mechanic with good experience using just jack stands and no lift?
d. does anyone have a digital copy of the section of the manual covering this repair - can't afford the $80 for the paper manual. Just got laid off.
Cheers
