If you've been there, could you share some feedback? We're looking for a setting similar to Assateague National Seashore in MD. Thanx!

Its a nice campground. Clean bathrooms and large wooded campsites. Right at the point of the ocean and Delaware bay.

We camped there when I was a kid and my parents now have a house not far away. It's fun place to explore becuase it used to be a Navy base during WWII. There are all kind of old towers and bunkers (mostly covered over now, when I was a kid you could go inside them.)

I've seen vehicles on the beach around Rehoboth but I'm not sure about Cape Henlopen itself.

Another plus is that it is right next to the ferry to Cape May, NJ and that makes for a good day trip.

i went there in highschool with my girlfriend to just get away for a weekend. and for a little "something, something." but being so close to Cape May is nice. cool little town with lots to do for the whole fam.
i don't think i would put it quite in the same catagory at Assateague though.
