I need some idea on how to break up the catalyst material. My converters came apart a long time ago a little bit at a time. I currently have a piece stuck in my rear muffler (aftermarket tiny muffler) just before the tailpipe bends 90 degrees and exits. Basically I'm looking for an idea of what to use to break it up. It needs to be flexible and firm. I have tried a coat hanger and a thick stainless steel radio antenna. This is on my D90.

Tell the fiance you need a stainless steel Borla.
You have to set the tone for the marriage early on...;)

What about a plumbing snake?

I was wondering if that might work. I'll see if we have one in the building.

Replace with a glasspack.

I think that is what's on there now. My main issue with paying someone else to do exhaust work is that I work the same hours as everyone else in the automotive industry.
