Does anyone have a picture of a cd changer out of a series II? I recently bought an '03 DII without a cd changer and am trying to instal the one that was given to me with the purchase. I have a feeling that they gave me a range rover cd changer, so if anyone has a picture that I can compare to that would be great.

The tag says MFD August 1997 and I dont know if the 97 changers are the same as a 2003 but anyways let me know if anyone knows anything about it.

Well I'm certainly no expert, but the fact that you have a 2003 truck and the CD unit shows a manufacture date of 1997, would lead me to believe it is NOT the one that came with the vehicle.

The one that came with my 99 D2 is an Alpine with a part number of LRN50500, but does not show a manufacture date.

Don't know it what you have will work or not.

Do you have the cable that runs from the back of the head unit to the CD changer?

You could just see it the plugs match up and give it a try...

Peace.

Odds are that won't work... Series I Discos had different changers than Series II Discos. The back label doesn't look right. If you have the CD cartridge, if you have to push a button on the cartridge to release the CDs, then it is certainly a Series I changer and won't fit the Series II.

yeah there is an eject button, and the cartridge that they gave me doesnt fit either. I think the cd cartridge is brand new and is for a 2003. So I guess I am going to have to get a different one.
