I would think that there is some sort of an emergency eject on the fron somewhere. Look around for a small hole around the eject button that you stick an awe in or seomthing. Just a guess, but you may get lucky

This may sound obvious and stupid but it happened to me once :D Make sure the sliding door on the front of the changer is open all the way, sometimes it sticks and blocks the eject by a fraction of an inch and you can't really see it since its tucked under the seat.

I've done that, too

The door is all of the way open. I was hoping for a little "paper clip slot" like they have for floppy disks. There is an indentation next to the eject button but I can't tell if it is an led light that is unlit or a hole. I stuck a paperclip in there but didnt go full force for fear that it was a light. Is there a light next to the eject button? Anyone know if the radio and cd magazine are on the same fuse?

Hey John,
I get the same thing every once and a while in my '00 D2.
Simply make sure the CD magazine door is all the way open, with one hand gentl push on the magazine in and out while, with the other hand, press the eject button.
Seems the CD's don't retract into the magazine completely when ejecting the magazine.
Works for me everytime. Good Luck.
Also you may try getting a new magazine, that's what I am going to try.

It has happend to me a couple times and it was the cover door for it, i just slid it opened and closed a couple times and made sure it was fully open again. Seemed to do the trick.

Same issue here occasionally, 2000 DII. Like John said... just have to fiddle with it. I have given up before, and found it ejecting perfectly two days later.

On my old D-II I had your same problem fairly often. Once or twice I had to take the whole thing apart. Not to hard but a pain to remove from the vehicle.
