CDL Disengaging

OK, I have been using my CDL pretty regularly when wheeling over the past month and haven't had any issues with the disengaging.

This weekend I put in a 2" RTE lift and added 245/75/16 BFG Mud Terrains (had stock shoes before).

Today I had a scare when I went into a dirt field and engaged to see what the traction difference was. As I went to disengage, I wasn't getting it to drop out. The lever was over and I could hear the click of the switch, but I was still lite and locked.

Finally, I backed up pretty hard about 20-30 yds and sure enough it dropped out. On the way home from work I did this again twice to test the results and I had the exact same result.

Now, I have read about the spin up and how some times it take a few feet to drop out, but this was very closely related to the lift and the tires timing and is now reproducable.

DO YOU GUYS THINK that the extended time to drop out is related to having a ton more traction, etc. now?

Do you think that this is something that I should be worried about?

Thanks fellas and rover chicks!

I don't think there is anything wrong. It seems like sometimes it takes my D90 a kind of long time (have to drive 20 feet and maybe back up a few or something, all this is only like 30 seconds) to disengage while other times its as soon as I move the lever over...
So I would say its normal unless it gets worse where it takes a very long time and a lot of messing with it or just doesn't disengage I wouldn't worry about it...

Mine seems to do this every single time since the day I hooked it up. I also run the same lift but 265's. I usually have to reverse a few feet to get it to dis-engage. I wouldnt really worrry about it. Ive checked and rechecked and everythings working properly.
