Wow, I finally got back on dweb, thanks for all the hard work guys!
Anyway I have a 95 d1 and can't get the cdl to work. It worked fine and the linkages are intact and not rusted. One day I got in put the truck in gear and noticed the warning sounder for the cdl was going off, no dash board light though. If you try to move the cdl lever it's no good, at the same time the cd changer stopped working, no power to it at all. I checked all the wiring and grounds but found nothing of note. After a day or so it suddenly started to work again, but now it dead again. I think its an electrical problem because of the cd changer and because of the intermittiant cut out. Any ideas? I think the brake light switch just failed, but that was well after the cdl problem.
