CDL Linkage "bush joint"

I just bought a 98 Disco with a questionable past. Anyway, it was stuck in CDL, so I tore it apart to find that the plastic pivot piece was shattered. RoversNorth calls this a "bush joint"

Has anyone changed this? how far do I have to disassemble the shift linkage?

Well I ordered the part.

It's not. Make sure you fill the area where it rides (part #16) with grease.

it was not that hard. The hardest part was drilling out the pop rivets.

I cant believe how smooth and easy it is now to shift the t case
