I'm trying to get home and I'm at my wits end here. Had the transmission replaced after it started slipping, tech told me that the seal between the transfercase and transmission went out - killing the transmission. Anyhow, got the rig back and was packing/road testing and then all of a sudden the CEL light came on. First it started blinking, and then went solid, at some point it started blinking again and went solid. I went to autozone and pulled two codes P1313 and P1314. Does anyone know what these codes are. I've done a search and I can't get a definitive answer.
P1313 - misfire rate catalyst damage fault - bank 1
P1314 - misfire rate catalyst damage fault - bank 2
The rig is a 96 Discovery I and it runs like a champ now. Some posts say misfire in cylinder 4, and I can't see that - it runs perfect. Some say its the cats, are there 2? Are there sensors around it?
