Center Dash Pod Removal

Is it possible to removed the facia (black plastic trim) around the head unit and a/c controls without doing the work to remove the whole dash? I'd like to get behind the trim to tidy up some wiring and attempt to fix the driver's side temp control knob as mine is stuck pointing around 11 oclock.

Yes it is...
I think there is a write up somewhere.
But the basics are.
Remove Switches - they are snapped in, pull from bottom,
Remove ashtray
There are screws behind those two.
Remove the head unit. - mine is aftermarket and I have snap ins, so its easier.

Thats a start...I am forgetting something.
I have done this a few times for the same reasons, and my fan switch packed in so I have an alternate run.
