had a couple of friends over this morning, Ian was going to change his truck cab over to what we call a van body, he bought the roof and sides from us.

It took 2 hours in total, I was taking pictures, passing tools etc etc as there was generally not room for three of us. Phil was helping.

Look across the street, none of those houses have more than 50 sq ft of front garden area and no garages or parking apart from the street itself. In the third picture there are SIX houses in view, all individual properties. You'd get all of those on an average North American house lot.

This is fairly typical of small UK towns that were built in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Terraced houses, '2 up 2 down', many were built without basic facilities like bathrooms in those days.

We have a much larger frontage on our own place, but our large trailer, Philip's Disco 2 and the engine tent/shelter are all on there, so very little spare room, plus we had all the tools and gear at the factory which is why we used the yard there.
