Cheap D1 Radio

Anybody have a D1 radio with code? Mine went out and I just need something cheap.

x2 most radios that come in parts trucks probably don't have the code and those that get replaced get trashed....

Ohhh, well as long as it has the dealer sticker on the back you can get the code again.

I've got one on the bench with the LR code card taped to it, but it came out of my '98 and I think it requires the under seat amp. I have that too. In fact until recently that was my garage audio system. I'm not using it anymore, let me know if that will work for you.

yea, in fact my code is taped inside the rover but got a tape stuck a while back and wont go out of tape mode now. i've disconnected it. i have no plans to swap out the stereo in the near future so i currently just run a bluetooth speaker and stream pandora.

Why not install a low end cheapie from crutchfield? Probably $80 and you're going with a modern radio.

Just a thought. I think it have one from my 93 RRC does that help?
