Check engine lite

HELP HELP HELP! My 98' Disco 4.0 has 83k and the check engine lite came on . I have replaced all the 02 censors, air filter is fine, plugs& wires new. Truck runs great! Work shop manuel says in passanger footwell is a device to short out lite. Sounds very strange to me. Please advise as to location of switch or gizmo, and procedure to get rid of lite. Thanks, You guys are great!

they are talking about the service engine soon light here is a link to reset it, but are you talking about the red service engine light or the amber check engine light????
