hey Big Red, Ben is right, my little one just grew out of his kelty.
i'll sell it to you really cheap if your interested.
we have 2 kelty packs, and only one stuffer
Kelty makes the best kid carriers bar none.
the key is to not get one that has to much crap on it.
the SUV (biggest) versions are really just to heavy and cumbersome.
and the low end ones dont come w/ a rain and sun sheild.
you dont need one w/ a gator pack bladder. chances are you'll run out of energy long before you drink all that water... trust me on this one, my wife and i have logged tons of hours of hiking w/ kids on our backs. it's not like carring a dead load backpack. having a live load takes a whole lot more energy to maintain balance etc... it takes some getting used to, especially when they get a little older and move around a bunch more.
hope that helps, and let me know if you want one of my old packs.
i'll send you photos if you want.
