Chump Car World Series Finals

Getting ready to get in the old beat up Disco and start my trip to Iowa for the Chump Car Nationals race. I'm a driver for team Rally Imprezive. I will be living in the Disco for three days and will be driving back on Monday. This is the first long trip since I did all the drivetrain work. I did however update my AAA membership.

This looks like a blast. Sounds like the 24 Hours of Lemons. Go get 'em! Is there any kind of pre-race scrutineering to make sure teams aren't spending more than $500 on their cars?

Wow, that looks like SOOOO much fun!

So the car itself has to be worth less than $500 - and you can't buy wheels and tires more than 2x the $ of OEM. ...what about the rest of the parts in the car? Sub-OEM prices only?

That was such a great offer, things got really complicated after my last post. Not to mention, each time during the weekend when I tried access dweb through my phone it couldn't connect to the server. That would have been great to meet you guys.

I will post more soon, the best part was a crash I had in turn 3 at 95 MPH, yes in a $500.00 car!
