Cigar Lighter lamp

The internal light in the clock was out and I spent over an hour troubleshooting why the new light would not come on until I discovered that the light ONLY comes on when the ignition is on !!!!!!
Duh !!!!!!! :rofl:

I also got a new light for the cigar lighter but this one is not coming on with the ignition and headlights. I will have to get the socket out and check the voltages. I just can't remember exactly how to get the plastic console loose.

The center console? Several screws in the cubby and maybe some up front under the useless Coke can holder. Also, the shifters, both for the transmission and the transfer case.

That <should> be it. Be gentle with it.

If it is a DII there are 4 screws at the window switches, two screws in the cubby box, pull the shifter knob off, the transmission shifter surround, unscrew the CDL knob get the boot off and the rubber mat, then there are two screws under the mat by the CDL.
