Is this pipeline trip exclusive to Chicago LR club members? I'd like to go but am not sure about being a member.

Why not join? Great group of people, the meetings are often quite interesting, and you have access to a network of rover savvy folks. Best 30 bucks I've spent this year.

You missed a good time. About 10 or so trucks. First time I have been to Lake Geneva. I had a great time. Rode some virgin trail, actually got to do a recovery, and unfortunately got bested by a jeep up a loose gravel climb.
I am already looking forward to the fall trip. Planning on going up thursday night if I can swing it or early Friday. Definetly want to get 2 days of riding in.

I've been a member for two years, and have still never been to one meeting or outing with the club.... It is worth it to support the group even if I don't directly profit from it..

I don't mind supporting the club... I have plenty of intention, it's just, like you said the JOB gets in the way... I got an OK two months ago to take off the weekend for the pipeline trip. Decided to push for it after I spent a week in and around Nicolet this summer....
