There might be, but pulling the radiator will be faster I'd wager. I've done it 3 times in the same day (don't ask) and it's no biggie.

I did not move the radiator. I was able to spray from the front of the truck by removing the plastic grill.

All of my buildup of debris is behind the AC stuff, wedged between it and the rad. I don’t think coming in from the front is possible

This may depend on what attachments you have in order to get some high pressure water in that area to clear out mud etc. I did this years ago and had to remove leaves, a mouse nest, and a bunch of mud.

You may have to remove some parts to meet your objective.

What I do is remove the fan shroud and mech fan… then you can unbolt the top rad mounts and push the top back toward the engine carefully. I usually wedge a small block of wood in there and the blow out/vacuum the crud in there as needed.

Use a hose in the rad fill and siphon into clean containers. You'll recover most of it and can reuse it if it's fresh.
this. 1/2" OD clear hose that is long enough to get to the bottom of the radiator and, up over the grill, and down into a clean bucket. You'll get 80-90% of the coolant out that way. Easily re-usable (if appropriate).

Without pulling the radiator on my 97 D1. Is there a way to clean between the radiator and AC bits?

You may unbolt 4 13mm bolts from radiator assembly cap.
By taking out this black cap al radiators can be moved. Just open a little bit the gap between radiator and condenser and you will be able to clean great quantity of debris. Not difficult to replace this cap and tighten the 4 bolts again.
