clearing SRS light

I found out this morning my battery was dead. After jumping it, the SRS light was on and now it won't go off. Does anyone know how to clear this? Strangely enough, the idle was really high, so I disconnected the battery and reconnected it - now it runs fine.

Is there a way to clear this or reset it without going to the dealer?

Sorry to say, but the SRS light must be cleared by the dealer or someone with a Testbook or similar computer that access' the ECU.

i think it can be cleared by a shop that has the autologic diagnostic setup.
