Good morning all,

I searched and read, and didn't find an answer. My clutch set up has a "damper" piped into the hydraulics after the hose and before the slave cylinder. My clutch is pretty stiff for a 9.5" clutch, appearantly dampner failure results in a stiff peddle. I plan on eliminating the dampner and going with a defnder set up. I was wondering if anyone else had done the same, and if so what pars did you use. My situation is a bit out of the ordinary, as I have a 300 tdi, but the clutch stuff seems to be the same gas or diesel.

Yeah, I did. Very easy, bought the fittings, a length of tubing, stainless flex hose, flared it, installed it. It's not a time consuming job. I actually had RTE sell me the stainless flex hose since they have the same guy making their brake lines
