New guy here obviously BUT this is shitty Fking attitude man. WHAT IF I dont have 3 FING hours to sit here and read every FKING thread and absorb all i can in 1 sitting?

The very fact that you found and replied in length to a 4 year old thread says that you DO have "3 FING hours" to spend doing it.

I DO have 3 hours to search and thats why I do, I was saying maybe HE doesnt because Not everyone does have the luxury. Besides that the guy I "Attacked" probally does know a shit ton more than i do about Rovers etc etc, I wont contest that fact. I was just stating that he didnt have to be a dick, a personality flaw has nothing to do with what knowledge he might have to contribute, fact is he wasnt contributing a goddamn thing except his shitty comment. This is an internet forum, NOT a school ground, I dont have to shy away from the "Big Kid" in the school yard, not that i would. I however do see what your saying..........I might need valuable info MUSKMAN has in his head and he certainly wont be giving me any of it after my post most likely, I get that. Its just that where I'm from when your a dick then your a dick and we tell you about it right up front. Anyway I dont want to make any enemies here, you guys are pretty friggin smart and I do value the tools and info on this board. I just really hate the whole "pirate4x4" Attitude and hate to see it on a different board. Peace.

Dweb is what it is. A great source of info but you better have a thick skin. You have to earn the right to be a dick.

Well said, and I will pick my battles. Yes Thick skin is a must, I agree completely. I dont frequent these forums on a daily basis like some other guys might. so I guess IF I did frequent them everyday I might get tired of seeing the same old lame ass questions from guys who quickly create an account, ask a repetative question, and then ride away into the darkness never to be seen again, I get that. FWIW, a Cheap Bastard spring lift on a Disco costs about $100.

I do have a question though. Does anybody know approximately how much lift the FJ80 springs would provide? I did some searching and I know I would have to flip my bottom perches but I could not find this info. I currently have 2" spacers in the rear and OME springs in the front but would like to have a little bit more lift while eliminating all spacers if I can. I don't like the idea of having 3" of spacers (or any spacers at all really) but I cannot afford a brand new set of RTE or OME springs right now. I was feeling fairly content with my ghetto 2" lift until this post was brought back from the dead

I think you boss needs to fire you. You seem like a pretty shitty employee. I know I have fired numerous people for lack of work ethic.

Best thing I did was install a good firewall to block my lower level employees from random internet. For some reason I have never had the same problem with people higher up. I guess some people are motivated to work and move up some just want to tread water their whole life.

LOL, yes etiquette looks much better. I knew I F'ed that up when I wrote it but didnt feel like finding the proper spelling. I'm actually a pretty good employee, I'm his Ace, someone else in the company made a rather large mistake that he's answering for so EVERYONE is suffering the wrath. I'm really not a dick, Im the guy you could call at 3 am stuck in a hole and I'd be out there asap to help dig/winch your ass out and expect nothing in return. BTW I AM THE HIGHER UP and I have permission to search the internet during breaks etc etc. I get my work done and my boss could care less as long as my oblgations are fulfilled, which they are. I started at the bottom and now I'm near the top and have EARNED the right to have certain perks such as internet usage, I'm not treading pal, I'm swimming along nicely.

Well just an update... I started this post a few years ago and felt with all the responses that I should post another one. So I traded my disco for an old fj40. I had the disco for about two years ,I think I got rid of her in 08? I put the fj80 coils on and they worked awesome!!!!!!!! Now I am back in san diego and am no longer a broke student and am looking for another disco to use as a daily driver and wheel the shit out of!!!!
