Would a 2002 discovery 2 air filter housing be interchangeable with a 2004 discovery 2? Thanks.

Pretty sure it depends on which motor you have for the upper part of the air box. 4.0 and 4.6 are not the same diameter.

The short answer is yes a 4.0 air box lid and intake duct along with maf housing can be swapped on. the longer answer is 4.0 and 4.6 maf sensor housing are different size although the sensor inside is the same and interchangable. the 4.6 housing is larger to allow more airflow. I did find it does askew short term fuel trim numbers a bit.
