So when I'm driving every time i go to turn the wheel it seems that my wheel kind of stops for a split second almost like a slight surge. My power steering rez is full and I don't see any leaks directly on the steering box. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so what is caussing this and what do I need to do tho fix this.:banghead:  :banghead:

Generally it seems like its only from center but occasionally it does seem from other places... Belt slip??? I never thought of that... How would thet be possible? I replaced the belt back in May with a factory belt and the tennsioner pulley with a napa one (the tennsioner arm seemed fine but the pulley seemed to be a bit bigger, although I did just pick up a new factory one from JC's Rover)

I was just thinking today as I drove the Rover and was being anoyed by the surge thing... could it be my steering stabilizer? Or could one of my steering linkage parts gotten just slightly bent? Or I had an alignment done just a few weeks ago, could something gotten loose (I don't hear any weird knocking or banging sounds)?

Call Jeff at JC's Rovers. He may have some ideas on this that will lead you in the right direction.

I can't tell you how many times he has helped me out with troubleshooting....
