Considering 2016 Supercharged 5.0L

Does the subject vehicle has the same engine as the 2016 3.0L SC LR4?

Same things or other things to consider on a purchase?

SC5.0 is the same family. As far as the motor goes it’s the same BS… timing chains, coolant crossovers, etc. all the same common issues AFAIK.

2016 is the best year L405 in my opinion. It has the older infotainment system that is infinitely more reliable than incontrol touch pro, which is comically bad. The plastic coolant pipes a definitely still a problem, but the timing chain issues don’t see as common as the older 5.0. They definitely do have timing issues when neglected
